The best time to be in form is at the end of the season. As the 2025 English cricket season wound down, I produced my most consistent run of batting — three consecutive not-out innings to finish the year on the highest possible note.

Building Through the Run
The 50* against Old Northamptonians was the foundation. A controlled, anchoring innings for the 1st XI in a league match — the kind of knock that shows maturity rather than fireworks.
Three weeks later, 63* against Wollaston — still unbeaten, still in control. I was seeing the ball early, getting into position quickly, and putting away anything in my scoring zone.
Then came the finale.
114* vs Thrapston — Maiden Overstone Park Century
The last match of my 2025 season, and I saved the best for last. 114 not out for Overstone Park 1st XI against Thrapston — my maiden century for the club. After years of coming through the junior ranks, U17s, 3rd XI, and 2nd XI, this was the innings that cemented my place in the 1st XI.
To end the season with a century — unbeaten — was the perfect full stop on the most productive year of my career.
