The 2025 English cricket season was, by every measure, the best of my career. Here's the full picture.

Season at a Glance

Stat 2025 2024 Change
Matches 75 66 +9
Runs 2,245 1,318 +927
Average 43.17 24.41 +18.76
Centuries 4 0 +4
Fifties 15 8 +7
Wickets 24 10 +14
High Score 162* 89 +73

The Four Centuries

  1. 106* — W Indians 1st XI vs Werrington CC (27 Apr)
  2. 162* — W Indians 1st XI vs City CC (4 May) — career-best
  3. 101 — W Indians 2nd XI vs Northampton Saints (10 Aug)
  4. 114* — Overstone Park 1st XI vs Thrapston CC (6 Sep) — maiden club century

Three of the four were not out. The 106* came with 4/33 in the same match. The 162* was scored just one week later. And the 114* closed the season in style.

Playing Across Four Teams

One of the unique aspects of 2025 was the volume and variety. I represented:

  • Overstone Park CC — 1st XI, 2nd XI, U17, U19
  • Wellingborough Indians — Sunday 1st XI and 2nd XI
  • Northants CB Boys EPP — county pathway
  • Multiple opposition levels — from youth cricket to adult league 1st XI

Playing 75 matches means cricket almost every day through the summer. It builds fitness, sharpens match awareness, and forces you to adapt to different conditions, teammates, and opposition.

Key Highlights

  • Back-to-back centuries in consecutive matches (106* then 162*)
  • All-round double: 106* and 4/33 in one match
  • Passed 5,000 career runs (8 June, aged 16)
  • Season ended with three consecutive not-out innings: 50*, 63*, 114*
  • Overstone Park Player of the Year — at 16 years old

Looking Ahead

Winning the club Player of the Year award at 16 was a proud moment, but the ambition doesn't stop here. The winter training at Omtex ICWC in India is about taking the game to the next level — and 2026 is about building on this platform with even bigger performances.
