Represented Northamptonshire from U10 through to U18 age-group level, progressing through every county squad. Training at the County Ground, Wantage Road.

Senior club cricket in the Northants Cricket League Premier Division. Served as Youth Captain, leading by example on and off the field. Has volunteered as a junior coach since the age of 14, mentoring the next generation through the club's pathway.

I started in junior cricket young and the county system was a massive step up every single season. The bowling gets more accurate, the fielding sharper — it tests you in ways club cricket simply can't. That competition is what shapes you as a player.
Setbacks Made the Player
Ram's development hasn't been without disruption. The 2020 season was cut to just four matches by COVID-19. Rather than becoming discouraged, he used that period away from competitive cricket to work intensively on his technique and bowling variations — showing the resilience and determination that has defined his career. When the game returned in 2021 he played 37 matches — more than doubling any previous season — and never looked back.
Winter training at the Omtex ICWC Institute in Maharashtra added a further dimension, exposing Ram to specialist coaching and an intensity that translated directly into five centuries in the 2025 season.
This is Just the Beginning
Ram's ambition is to progress through the county pathway towards professional cricket. With dedication, elite coaching, and the right opportunities, the best chapters are yet to be written.
